Lane has over 20 years of experience as a researcher, reporter and editor analyzing the business and technology industry.  On average, Lane meets with 600 CIOs and senior enterprise executives every year to understand the impact of evolving technological developments on organizations of all sizes across all industries.  He has organized and moderated many live and online events and works with a variety of high-tech organizations to ensure that information is presented in a context that is useful to an audience of sophisticated technology buyers and implementers.  He is a Contributing Content Partner to CIO Magazine. Award-winning content strategist Patricia has spent the last 20 years covering business and technology for CMP Media, McGraw-Hill and Phillips Business Information. She has served as senior manager of thought leadership for BearingPoint, a global technology and management consulting firm. Patricia is the co-author of How Innovators Connect, a book that features  nearly 40 interviews with Silicon Valley innovators, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs.  Patty holds a journalism degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master's degree from Johns Hopkins University.

Carl J. Cooper  

Carl brings over 17 years of business development sales and entrepreneurial experience.  He has launched, developed and sold a number technology companies in the United States, Canada and Asia.  He has held senior sales leadership positions with Gartner, the Washington News Bureau, LLC and CRA Reports. He brings a wealth of industry knowledge in the areas of message management, lead development and sales enablement.  As director of industry relations at BizTechReports, Carl is tasked with developing new editorial projects that match key emerging markets and audiences with technology solutions from our growing community of sponsors.  He is a graduate of Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO and resides in Toronto, Canada.
